Textiles

These images come from the amazing website VADS, which is an online resource for the visual arts in the UK.  The site has over 100,000 images, all free and copyright cleared.  If you have an hour to stare at the screen, head over there.  Don’t look to long though, because if you do you might realize that that somebody already came up an idea for that project you are working on, and you might get depressed.  These specific textile examples come from the University for the Creative Arts at Farnham.  There are over 3000 artifacts in the collection dating from 1000 A.D. through the 1990’s.
