Color Depression

These are some of the only color photographs taken during the great depression.  In 2006 The Library of Congress (who owns the images) digitally printed the photos from their original color negatives, and were compiled in the book and exhibition Bound For Glory.  For me this part of American history is always “remembered” in black and white. Seeing these images in color changes how we relate to this part of American history.
